Dr. Ayaaz Hussain Khan brings over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and clinical research to his role as Chief Operating Officer-Global at Lambda Therapeutic Research & Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services. A scientist at heart and a leader by practice, he has overseen more than 2,000 biostudies and clinical trials across North America, Europe, and Asia, covering biosimilars, complex generics, novel drug delivery systems, and multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, nephrology, and immunology. At Lambda & Novum, he leads global operations with a focus on scientific excellence, efficiency, and collaboration, strengthening the organization’s global capabilities in clinical research.
Before joining Lambda, Dr. Khan served as Global Head – Generics and Managing Director at Ecron Acunova (Navitas Life Sciences), where he successfully led large-scale clinical programs, strengthened regulatory outcomes, and expanded business growth in international markets. He has also held senior positions with GVK Biosciences, Orchid Pharma, and Ranbaxy Research Labs, where he drove scientific innovation and operational excellence.
Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hamdard University, a Master’s in Pharmaceutics from BIT Ranchi, and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Dr. MGR Medical University. Beyond his leadership roles, he is an active contributor to industry publications, panel discussions, and academic forums, where he shares his insights on advancing clinical research and patient-centric innovation.
